This is the time of year when Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS/COVID-19 Emergency Assistance Fund ordinarily makes their money for the year. Obviously that’s not happening. I saw this show live when it was at the Barrow Theatre (think I have that right). It’s a genuine one-man tour de force starring Michael Urie. I think it’s well suited to being filmed in his living room and recommend it highly.

|Stage and TV favorite Michael Urie returns to his iconic turn in Jonathan Tolins’ hilarious one-man-show Buyer & Cellar…live from his living room!|
Urie plays Alex More, who has a story to tell. A struggling actor in Los Angeles, he takes a job working in the Malibu basement of a beloved megastar. One day, the Lady Herself comes downstairs to play. It feels like real bonding in the basement, but will their relationship ever make it upstairs? Buyer & Cellar is an outrageous comedy about the price of fame, the cost of things and the oddest of odd jobs!
