Dead zone in Gulf of Mexico continues to expand

Unfortunately, this is a predictable consequence of a combination of oil well drilling leaks and explosions that haven’t been capped and agricultural run-off (pesticides and fertilizers) plus increasing water temperatures, changes in currents and more.
