My family has always had a deep connection to water — to preserving fresh water, to trying to prevent warmer oceans from bleaching coral, better managing the abundance of food we harvest from waterlines, not fouling ground water with unnamed chemicals for fracking or with arsenic for gold mining, to a hoped-for end to selling water in plastic bottles (particularly when sourced from land that becomes too arid to use for crops). In the process one of my siblings spends a lot of time scuba diving and passed on this article. I can’t resist posting it.
