Manhattan gridlock days CORRECTED by nyc.dot.gov

Due to a clerical error, three Gridlock Alert Days were incorrect in this year’s announcement. Tomorrow, November 15 and next Wednesday, November 20 are NOT Gridlock Alerts Days. Friday, November 22 IS a Gridlock Alert Day.

Holiday Gridlock Alert Days

Select days in November and December are designated Gridlock Alert Days, as traffic volumes increase with holiday shopping and travel, as well as special event street closures. Drivers can expect that travel through Manhattan will take three times as long as a typical day of the week.
