Just a reminder that using a credit card at restaurants has one downside. Unless you leave cash (the best approach), you’re writing the amount of the tip on the paper receipt. That small piece of paper can be easily adjusted to show a larger amount. Always take your copy so that you have proof of your intent if the tip later shows up for a different figure.
