Looking to the past for solutions to today’s water programs — in Peru

It’s both encouraging and discouraging that so many solutions to problems caused by climate change are local. It’s encouraging because individual or small group responses are often the fastest == in this case, addressing a local water shortage caused by global warming. It’s discouraging because our time frame for effective action to combatting global warming is so short. Governmental action on a national, and global level, will be required if the necessary switch away from fossil fuels is to be accomplished in the next decade.

But try reading this article for a bit of optimism.
