In my world, regardless of whether the morning is religious or secular, and without regard to whether lunch was Chinese or leftovers from Christmas Eve, many go to movies in the afternoon. The choice generally excludes those that are depressing or require a handkerchief. Here are three I’ve really enjoyed that meet those criteria. None of them are suitable for small children.
