Information about NYC Green Markets

Greenmarket is a program of GrowNYC, a 501(c)3 nonprofit. They send out periodic emails. If you’re not on their list, this may be info you can use. Please note that most locations also collect compostable items (largely food scraps from produce) — all you have to do is get it there. If the Upper West Side isn’t your neighborhood, click thru to GrowNYC for your schedule and locations.

It’s Harvest Season at Upper West Side Greenmarkets!
Upper West Side Greenmarkets are open for the season! Pick up fresh, locally-grown vegetables, orchard fruit, potted plants and flowers, honey, fresh seafood, breads, pastries and more.
Cash, SNAP/EBT and WIC & Senior FMNP checks are welcome at all Bronx farmers markets. SNAP Users — spend $5 and receive $2 in Health Bucks to spend on fruits and vegetables.
Looking forward to seeing you at the market!
