This story is fascinating but is, unfortunately, presented as a series of 40 slides detailing the gauntlet that potential contestants need to run to get onto the Great British Bake-Off. I know I wouldn’t qualify.

Not being a resident of the UK neither would I! But none of the rules seem all that burdensome to me, they seem “normal” reality TV rules — if one can use the term normal in the same sentence with reality TV of course.
