As a buyer of the original Apple Watch and every worthwhile upgrade since, I think this particular model is worth a look. It doesn’t include the EKG and oxygen level testing included on the Apple Watch Series 6 and its available color choices are more limited, but those restrictions won’t bother many buyers and the price is right.
If you have children, do look into the new family feature that lets one master watch govern the family’s other watches even if they don’t have an iPhone. Very useful with the new requirements that children be here or there at a particular time for their education.
