Some serious health conditions don’t have impressive symptoms

Consider this my public health announcement of the day.

I’ll be having my gallbladder removed September 11th because my doctors pursued a test showing an elevated liver function. We then checked my body against this list of common, easily ignored, symptoms: mild but continuous nausea, itchy skin, abdomen pain, dark urine, jaundice, exhaustion. I had all but one. These were not just signs of COVID-19 stress. These were instead evidence of a blockage or compression of the bile part of my digestive system. If you have some or all of these symptoms, please follow up before the situation worsens.
