I prefer puzzles that can be completed within a less than historical time period. For me, that means 1000 pieces or less and a variety of colors. (No, I do NOT one in only one shade of red and 2,000 puzzles — that is not my idea of fun.) One set of jigsaw puzzles worth doing several times are those by Rebecca Barker. All of the designs I’ve seen of hers have wonderful landscapes that always feature a classic quilt in the foreground.
But here is a fine option, particularly if your children are home with you now. Colorful and a history lesson as well. https://www.uncommongoods.com/product/votes-for-women-puzzle? Such a handsome and unusual jigsaw puzzle with both names familiar and unfamiliar.
