I only discovered Good eReader recently but Kozlowski appears either to have better access and better comprehension of Amazon’s moves in the Kindle world. Further, he often discusses and compared ereaders that are NOT Kindles which is exceedingly rare. He appears to be based in Canada. Amazon is making it easier to read ebooks on the Kindle
October 4, 2019 By Michael Kozlowski 15 Comments

The Amazon Kindle line of e-readers have just received a new firmware update 5.12.2 that will make it easier to read ebooks. In the coming weeks you will be able to read items you own with a single click from the detail or thank you page on the Store. Also in the coming weeks you will be able to read Kindle Unlimited/Prime Reading items with a single click from the recommendations listed at the end of your book.
This new firmware update is only for all models of the Kindle Oasis and Kindle Paperwhite. It also works on most models of the entry level Kindle Basic and the Kindle Voyage.
Amazon is basically making it easier to read ebooks when you are done reading or clicking on product recommendations. This system is ideal if you purchase lots of ebooks or are a Prime Member, it also helps if you subscribe to Kindle Unlimited.
