“The Biggest Little Farm” appearing on Upper West Side on Labor Day Monday at 1pm — bring your family and sense of wonder

This has been one of my favorite movies recently. It’s definitely flying under the radar as a small budget (about $1 million) documentary, but you really want to see it on the big screen. It’s visually stunning and presents a positive environmental story — something you and your children haven’t seen recently.

The movie is about a seven-year journey by a couple forced out of their apartment by a rambunctious dog who decide to follow their dream. They take a piece of land with little water and rock-hard dirt and use the best natural approach to meet each challenge. It’s a joy to Not see chemicals, but instead see ladybugs, owls, and more used to solve problems.

This is a wonderful film that you will remember long after you leave. Check Twitter for rave after rave — or just come to 1871 Broadway between W 61st and W 62nd on Labor Day Monday at 1pm. Tickets at http://www.newplazacinema.com, Fandango, or with cash at the door. The NYIT auditorium used to be a Clearview Theatre and offers fine seating and great views. Come join me.
