Finally! Apple’s butterfly keyboards for its portables being abandoned

Apple tends to believe that it knows better than its customers (removal of the jack for headphones, FaceTime replacing Touch ID), but occasionally some technical feature is simply too bad to fix. The butterfly keyboard has been modified at least once, but unsuccessfully. It will be replaced this year for the MacBook Air, but not until next year for the MacBook Pro.
