If the ubiquitous stories about lack of online privacy are making your skin crawl, there’s a relatively new search engine/browser option — DuckDuckGo. I’m still experimenting with it but suggest others who enjoy fiddling with tech try it too.
Recommended to me by a friend who has a virtually infallible eye for what works and is also beneficial, using the DuckDuckGo app will at least reduce the evidence that your every internet activity is being observed and used.
Only takes two easy steps.
(1) Download the DuckDuckGo app.
(2) Since you will probably still use Safari from time to time, change its search engine default option by going to Settings, Safari, Search Option, DuckDuckGo.
