Huge, bi-partisan, public land bill worth a look

This bill passed with Republican and Democratic support. A shame that doesn’t happen more often. The Washington Post has done a fine job here of describing the skeleton of a huge expansion in public lands. Now if only we could limit commercial exploitation of these lands thru drilling, improper forest management, and more.
