Wind turbines may be good for more than just providing power – how about taming hurricane downpours?

Another power source far more accepted in Europe than in the US is wind turbines which are everywhere there and found here as visual blights (say what?). We should be putting these up at a fast clip together with more solar power farms. Always intrigued by articles positing additional benefit than the renewable energy they produce.
