I saw/heard Ms. Anderson as a news panelist and found her to be articulate, informed, and informative. She was probably invited to appear because of this book. Because it’s relevant, I’ll mention she’s black. For those who marvel at the incredible explosion of violent racism in this country in the decade or so, her exploration of the underlying issues, concerns, and unspoken rationale will inform you as well. I found her perspectives to provide a useful addition to my understanding of the deep anger of many white people to others with different skin colors or religions. It’s not just all from the gut. There’s a rationale, no matter how abhorrent. She’s worth reading.

  1. My immediate reaction was that I had zero interest in the book but because it was you I kept reading, I can’t actually imagine a rational “rationale,” but i’ll Give some thought.
