The articles keep tumbling over each other about what to expect from Apple’s (so-far-unscheduled) September product release announcement. As an owner of an Apple Watch 2 who didn’t bother to upgrade, I’m paying attention to guesses about the Apple Watch 4. I also didn’t upgrade from the iPhone 7 Plus because I truly prefer fingerprint identification (touch ID) to the facial ID on the current iPhone X. As a result, I’m really hoping this article (and others like it) are accurate in their predictions that touch ID is coming back. You’ll have to click thru as the graphics are too dense to copy to here. Most of the predictions for watch and phone are based on the patent applications that Apple has filed. Talk about reading tea leaves.
