Climate crisis effects — locust swarms the size of cities

This article is filled with media so I suggest you just click thru. Its main point tho is that locust swarms will consume everything that can be eaten as they travel thru — and these swarms are traveling thru parts of Africa leaving famine in their wake.

Locusts have always been a threat and horror in Africa but the swarms are larger and more frequent as a direct result of climate crisis conditions, particularly the larger number of cyclones that are produced by warmer bodies of water. The connections seem odd at the start but are clear and inevitable. Yet another scary consequence of the rise in temperatures.
